Directions to Wilder Lake

Access to Wilder Lake is through Alexana Winery at:
12001 NE Worden Hill Rd, Newberg, OR 97132

If you use your GPS to get to Alexana Winery, you may skip down to step 7 below.

Directions:

  1. Drive to downtown Dundee, Oregon.
    If coming up from the South, drive North on 99W.
    If coming south from Portland, drive South on 99W through Newberg to Dundee.
  2. Turn onto SW 9th Street. There is only one way you can turn onto the street.
  3. After about a half mile, SW 9th Street becomes NE Worden Hill Road.
  4. Continue another 3.5 miles on NE Worden Hill Road.
  5. As you pass the blue corrugated metal walled building with a white door on your right, slow and prepare to turn left.
  6. Turn Left at the “Alexana Winery” entrance. You may also see a large “Van Duzer Vineyards” sign at the entrance.
  7. Drive through the wrought iron gates on the paved road and past the Alexana Winery tasting room.
  8. When the pavement ends, continue straight on the gravel road.
  9. Stay on the gravel road and drive through the next gate.
  10. Just through the second gate turn left. You will see a small blue and white sign for “Wilder Lake.”
  11. Continue on the road until you reach the lake.
  12. Please park on the gravel.
