Privacy Policy

This page explains what stillwaterflycompany.net records when you visit it, and what happens to a message you send us through one of its forms.

How we measure visits to this website

When you visit stillwaterflycompany.net, our website records how it is used: the pages you view, how far down a page you scroll, how long the page is in use, and what you open or tap, such as a button or a phone number. It also records the website or advertisement that brought you to the site, the type of device you use (computer, phone or tablet), and your internet address with its last part removed, so that it identifies a network rather than a device.

This record does not use cookies. Your browser holds a random number for as long as the tab is open, so that the pages of one visit can be counted together; it is forgotten when the tab is closed, and separate visits are not linked to each other.

If you send us a message through one of our forms, the visit during which you sent it is kept with your message, so that we can see which pages led to it. We do not use this to identify visits on which you did not send a form.

If you start to send a form and it does not go through, for example because a detail was missing or our website had a problem, what you entered is kept for 30 days so that we can still reply to you, and then deleted.

This information is kept on our own website's server for 400 days and is not sold or shared. A message is deleted after one year, or sooner if you ask us to delete it; from then on, the visit connected to it is no longer linked to you and remains only as an anonymous visit until the 400 days are up. To ask, contact us using the details on our Contact page.
